Changing to Raleigh

Any ideas if i could change my office of choice from Charlotte to Raleigh on my AOS application, or do you think that the USCIS might do it automatically?

I still have not heard nor read of any official info that the Raleigh office is already open.

Nevertheless, USCIS usually automatically assigns you to the DO that is responsible for the area you live in. So, if Raleigh is already open and it has jurisdiction over where you live, then you will be assigned there.

cool thanks for that i just didn't know that since i had put down Charlotte they would still process me through there. the office opened last month and is now accessible through the USCIS website.

It is open, a few members went there already (without appointment).

It's hard to tell where you case will be sent, but you are still early enough in the process that they are more likely to send you to the Raleigh Durham office.

I'd say wait and see for now.

No from what I remembered they went in to check if it was opened, and did kind of walk in infopass. Check the July filers thread and a thread about Raligh and Charlotte http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=125008
