If you are a girl that has a brother or are married , you can pretty much expect to be stuck in the house, tearing the feathers out of chickens and sitting around waiting for your husband to show up at home.

Morocco is pretty much the same as what she explained from Algeria. The point that she was making is that once you marry a moroccan/algerian man, you no longer have the liberties that you had when you were just a "westener visiting". You are now expected to act like a native married woman would. I can vouch that yes in Morocco, its a different lifestyle for woman.
