Another week....

Still waiting.....

I keep thinking "this will be the week"....and it NEVER is. How can they just do this. Noone cares about us!! What are we going to do?? ARE we going to do aanything? CAN we do anything???

The only answer is to reduce your expectations to zero because anticipating anything is going to lead to continued disappointment.

I was glad to learn that the time to interview in Montreal seems to have come down considerably. So that was positive. And it is Friday. Fridays are good.

I feel so left out....

This isn't just a VSC problem.

Anyway, I have decided to do what my husband does. Since the senator said don't bother him again with an inquiry until August (6 months from NOA-1 date), then I don't expect anything until then. I am too tired to drive myself insane and think the NOA-2 will arrive any sooner than that.

09/19/2007: Withdrew CIC application (they still hadn't processed anything)

10/01/2007: Moved back to U.S.

08/20/2008: Biometrics appointment

08/22/2008: Received RFE for Affadivit of Support and Medical

10/21/2008: Submitted I-865W in lieu of co-sponsor and medical info to NSC

11/14/2008: online case status not updated since filing of AOS in July 2008

01/20/2009: Received another RFE for Affadavit of Support Info

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

That's right, sad but true. Expect and prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

Plan a visit to see your spouse so you have a date to look forward to that is in your control.

I'm extremely lucky in that respect, Pattu. I'm driving to see him tonight and he'll be down for about 2 weeks starting the middle of next week. So seeing one another isn't really a problem. But being married and living separately and seeing one another as we can just doesn't cut it. Part of the point in marriage is to build a life... what's that word? I'm not sure I remember what it is... Um... Oh yeah, TOGETHER!!!!! What we've got right now is just an advanced form of dating.

I'm extremely lucky in that respect, Pattu. I'm driving to see him tonight and he'll be down for about 2 weeks starting the middle of next week. So seeing one another isn't really a problem. But being married and living separately and seeing one another as we can just doesn't cut it. Part of the point in marriage is to build a life... what's that word? I'm not sure I remember what it is... Um... Oh yeah, TOGETHER!!!!! What we've got right now is just an advanced form of dating.

You are lucky, I havent seen my wife since October, and still Absolutely no ###### approvals as of yet. :angry:

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I haven't seen my hubby since JULY 1!!! :crying:

Soon that will change, at least for a time, and then I pray that we will be approved...

Hey everyone - still no changes here for us either. That dreaded 2/24/08 date is still showing. Everyday another December or January filer seems to get approved.....I don't understand it at all.
