Cases touched early in the morning?

I was just having my morning coffee and checking the USCIS site and I noticed our case was last updated on May 9 (today) - and the current time is 6:57 am. Are they working that early in the morning or is your case automatically updated as soon you log in?

It only went online as of yesterday, so has it been touched between yesterday and today?

Any comments?

Was expecting to see something on the N-400 as biometrics were done and sent in a copy of my wife's brand new shiny green card, but untouched since we sent in the application over a month ago now.

We get this message on the I-751,

"On April 21, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service."

Not sure what that is all about, already received that with the new green cards and so far, nothing in the mail.

But for now, just nice showing an unexpired green card, in particular to other government agencies without spending hours having to explain to them why that old card was expired. Our state is cracking down on illegals, oh, excuse me, undocumented workers, but decided not to bother corporation farms as long as they have less than three undocumented workers on each farm. Doesn't make any difference how many farms they own, just the number of workers per farm. Makes a guy wonder who is really running this country.

But these workers will find out their counterfeit SS cards will no longer get them a renewed driver's license, they need that valid green card now, that is one way to keep them on the farm.

Lot's of nasty stories, know of a young man stopped for a burnt out tail light, no license, no documentation, was put in jail, took all his possessions including his SUV and dumped him on the other side of the border with only the shirt on his back. Worse yet, deported a father of four, but left his wife stay as their four kids were born here and are considered to be US citizens. She is not allowed to work with no means of support, but at least her kids are getting aid. Any illegal hurt on the job is instantly fired regardless of the cause and met some pretty badly crippled for life. This is corporate America, anything to make a buck, not proud as to how our country has become.

It's an IT thing. Batch processes to update the databases are run in the middle of the night when the draw on system resources has less impact. Someone probably worked on your file yesterday and it shows as a touch today.
