Orange chicken at a mall near me (Bridgewater Commons, don't know if you've been) tastes ok but will knock you out cold. It's better than Nyquil.

I've found one good (but expensive) Chinese in NYC - near Rockefeller Plaza, but nowhere in NJ that I'd particularly recommend. Pity really as I like Chinese food.

I like Indian stuff too - but I can't find a restaurant that does British-style indian food.

Start your own. Sounds like there may be a niche there you can fill

I'd be a definite supporter.

I'd choose curry tonight but I defrosted sausages. Reckon Sausage Madras would work?

There is a word for that #######. Hated the food in the UK. Nowhere near as fresh, or tasty, as downunder.

European companies are not just being pulled to America by a cheaper dollar. They are also being pushed away from Europe by a business environment that is not as attractive as that in the United States. For many companies, moving across the Atlantic is the fastest and cheapest way to cut costs and become more competitive. The average hourly manufacturing wage in Europe is 16 percent higher than in the United States. Social insurance and payroll taxes are far steeper in Europe. As are energy costs: the average price of a kilowatt-hour for industrial usage in Europe is roughly 60 percent more than in the United States. Transportation costs are higher, too. And the cost advantages of operating in the United States don’t stop there. Land is still far cheaper in the United States. An acre of rural land in the United States will cost you an average of $1,900. The same plot of land will cost you $5,700 in Germany, $6,650 in Spain, and $14,600 in Denmark.

How the #### are you guys still bankrupt.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

What do you expect from a country as large as America with the population of California. Compared to a country the size of NY with 60,000,000. Our food is fresher. I have never even seen any produce exported from the UK.

What do you mean "what do you expect...".

Dumb just gets dumber doesn't it

And more irrelevant.

Of course we don't export our food; because we eat it. I can walk into my supermarket and see any number of root vegetables and seasonal fruits that are locally grown. Or are you going to blame us for importing tropical fruit just because we don't have the right climate?

Oh, and personally I'd think a smaller land area and a denser population would result in fresh food, especially meat and fish, reaching our supermarkets quicker than in a much larger country where distributors have to drive longer distances and where people can't journey out to their local shops so often.

Actually we do export - the UK is part of the European Common Agricultural Policy. There is plenty of agriculture and farming in the UK - supermarket shelves are stocked exclusively by foreign imports - that's just idiotic.

The idea that if he hasn't personally "seen it" that it somehow doesn't exist is ridiculous, but consistent with the wonky logic BY applies to all kinds of issues.

I know, I was being facetious. Although I can't imagine we export all that much all the way over to Australia, but I could be wrong.
