There should be instructions in the package.

Each embassy is different.

mail them back and wait for packet number 4.

Incorrect

According to the Embassy page for the Ukraine here on VJ...the beneficiary does not send anything back to the Embassy, they simple take everything with them to the interview.

Please double check the instructions in package 3 though, things may have changed since that page was last updated.

Everything should be written out telling you what to do.

I went to the Embassy website in Kiev nad downloaded the packet 3..you are right there is no mention of mailing anything. Seems like its just show up with the documents. So I guess I will call for her interview once she has her police report.

The embassy in the Ukraine has very specific instructions on what to do. You must call using a calling card that you can only buy a a certain bank chain there. Read the instructions carefully and have your SO get the card $12 for 5 min and make the phone call. The Ukraine does not have a packet 3 or a packet 4, it just sends a information request packet listing the documents to bring to the interview - that you schedule by phone.

And So It Begins......

We have already received our packet 3 but we are a bit confused...do we mail the DS156 and DS156k back to the embassy? Or do we just call to schedule the interview once we have all our documents?

Thanks
