Calling to see what the hell is up, since I'm still waiting for NOA2 after getting a receipt in January. (Mailed last August)

Dude sounded like some little shaver that worked there about 12 days... looked up my case and said, uh huh. yeah. stuff you know already.

Then said I SHOULD file for K3, that "IT WOULD BE TURNED OVER TO THE VISA CENTER IMMEDIATELY IF I DID THAT"

????????

I thought there was no big likely hood of this visa getting done before a I-130 IR1 visa. So I'm confused all over again.

I thought waiting would help me avoid AOS bullsemen later down the line.

This young punk hasn't a clue has he??? or Should I send in the K3 paperwork (I filled out and have it signed by spouse and all, from 21094832048320498234 months ago, but had thought waiting for I-130 was the wise play.

I don't mind waiting an extra month or two...but if its infinity vs. sooner than infinity, I'd opt for sooner.

what the helll....

lawyer people all suck

uscis site still sucks goats.

At this point in your filing I dont really think filing a K3 would help. The guy that you spoke with really does not have a clue as to what he was saying. I would think that if you filed in Aug that your time will be coming up soon for processing. If it isnt then there could be something holding it back, like name check BS, in which case it wouldnt matter if there was a K3 or not. Next month they should change the processing dates( they better  ) Pray that they post dates after you filed and get your congressman to start doing an inquiry. But to be honest the people at the 1800 number have no idea what is going on at the service centers, and most of the time have no idea about the process, dont pay him any attention.

I was pondering sending in a 129F myself to see if it'd nudge them. Thinking about it, it wouldn't really make a difference one way or another. If it made it in sooner, great. If it didn't change a thing, it didn't hurt.

I'm going to give it 2 more weeks.

thanks men, I thought that clown was not too knowledgeable.

He even seemed shocked my case was gathering dust for so long. Must be a rookie.

I'll wait a few more weeks.

He also said I'd likely have her visa in about 5 months (i'd be thrilled if that happened)...but I don't believe it...especially from that rep.

If they change the processing dates to a time after you filed and you get your congressman involved then there is a good chance of that 5 months.

but seriously man, congress man help citizen.... never happen

Check out almost every Brazil filer on here, you will see nothing happened until their congressman got involved, it depends on the congressman most of the time but for the most part they will try to help you once your time is due. And its not only Brazil , Im just giving you an example that you can see.

Sgr,

Honestly, its not far fetched, I've read a few approvals with no update in USCIS system, and no emails. Believe it could be possible. Guess next few days will tell if hardcopy of approval will arrive in mail. If not, Im already working on something else, I even canceled my Sun & Surf weekend for my next move, enough is enough.

I read something, and Im fuming with VSC and the Honey bunnies approvals. Im tired of being a newly wed and living 5000 miles apart, 2 household to keep up, it's got to end.
