I have just arrived back in the U.S. I have applied for a fiancee visa for my fiancee, who is of British nationality, but currently lives and works in Peru. We are at the point now that I need to submit the form I-134, Affadavit of Support. The problem is, as I have lived abroad for the last three years, I have no income and no tax returns to declare on the form. My mother has agreed to help out by being a sponsor. With this being the case, would she be the sponsor, or co-sponsor? Would she need to fill out the form I-864? Or some other form? She filled out an I-864EZ, but then I noticed in the instruction that this form is not useable by co-sponsors. Any help in resolving this matter would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you.

K non-immigrant visas use the I-134, not the I-864. Provide a completed I-134 and supporting documentation as indicated in the form instructions for you and one for your mother.

The I-864 is used at the adjustment of status stage, after US arrival and marriage. Again, one for each of you.
