This morning when I was being treated, they had me in an observation room in the labor and delivery section of the hospital. I heard 2 women give birth.

I must say...I never knew it was humanly possible for a woman to scream like that. I started crying immediatly and was ready to run out of that hospital in my gown while connected to all the machines. I think Taleen is just gonna have to stay inside.

did you hear any of them tell the hospital staff that their husband's parents weren't married?

Charles, that wasn't fair. You know I'm a blonde. That laugh was delayed by at least a minute.

JP, ever watched martial arts? That scream is more like the one a martial artist gives to give him more power when he hits. They also use that technique in the military. Women giving birth probably invented it. The screams aren't nearly as much about the pain as they are about focusing the adrenaline and making the pushes work.

I got a lot of sleep today. Missing the animation shorts right now though. One final tomorrow and then filming commencement for Saturday. One more week of kitty sitting and then it's off to Boise for the summer. Got some work at the old hospital position filling in while people are on vacation.

Ok I need a certain type of leb 'cause we're running out. We checked our arabic stores that we know of and although they have one kind we like they don't have the other kind. Anyone know of an arabic or middle eastern food store online I can check?

what type of seeds are they or what do they look like? israeli grocers sell interesting seeds that they dont really sell to snack on in the US (like white watermelon seeds).

JP my epi didnt work with the first either and the pain is fine. the IV does suck its an irritation more than anything but the pain is fine, and you are focused on getting the baby out - believe me by the very end of your pregnancy gd willing you will be SO READY to get the baby out because you are so uncomfortable that pushing will be the focus. and then the baby comes out and its amazing and you forget whatever pain you felt immediately. if you get an epi and it works (like with my second pregnancy) you will feel nothing!
