I'm just curious guys,

When I call NVC's automated sytem, I hear the following message

"... your Case was completed on ...Please allow 8 weeks for further instructions..."

I already have a appointment with the embassy and was told by nvC that they mailed out my instructions.

My question is, I have been getting the above message for about a month now.

Will I actually hear the message below?

Case Forwarded to Embassy:

"...The NVC has completed the case and forwarded it to the Embassy or Consulate in..."

I'm also just wondering when do they actually forward our case to the embassy.

Many thanks

i was wondering the same thing. i did the dhl tracking thing and found that a package was despatched to singapore 2 days after my case was completed and the package has since arrived in singapore. it's likely to be ours since there are so few applications from singapore. however we still haven't heard the "case forwarded to embassy" message but maybe that's because our interview has not yet been scheduled.

hope you hear the message soon!

it all depend really. if NVC schedule appoinement, then don't worry to much on package reach embassy. since it will be on special del and will reach embassy by or before your interview date.

what bother me is embassy not on appoinment post where you have to wait atleast 1-3 months before heard anything you could get the last message within a weeks. for example my case complete on 13 enroute to china 18 per message. until now i still haven't receive interview date.

if you got interview date, don't worry to much unless u still haven't receive the letter for your medical exam 1 week before your interview

Until you got your interview date your doc`s will be at NVC. Once they will give you date your doc`c will leave.
