I filed a I-129F application with Vermont and they received it Sept. 7, 2007 on April 23rd they received my reply to an RFE. It says on the RFE to wait 60 days to let them have time to process the application. Does anyone know if they usually take the full 60 days??? I sure hope not since we have been waiting since Sept 07. Anyone have advice on speeding them up or do I just have to wait an hope they finally look at my application. If I have to wait 60 days it looks like we won't even have an interview till August which is practically a year from filing.

we had an RFE also and it only took two weeks from the day they received our responce to the day of the approval. I wish you the best of luck, that it won't take too much longer!!

I sure hope you are right today is 15 days and with my luck I hope it is not 60 before we here. thanks for the luck.

We are also waiting for the NOA2 after sending in evidence for RFE that was received by them on the 16th of April, even though we sent it on th 1st of April (We originally sent it before then but they got confused over whether we had paid for the visa application! & sent that back asking for payment). We last got touched on the 21st of April and it still says 'request for RFE received, processing resumed' but since that nothing.

Hope you get it sorted soon!

Only glad you started in Jan at least you got the RFE a few months later. I waited 7 months to just get an RFE!!! Now they can wait till June 23rd to reply. If that is the case with luck we will have an interview in August 08 ONE YEAR after our original filing. Patience I think is wearing very very thin. Plus my lawyer is useless. I will never use one again. They think I should be more patient than the damn USCIS!!!!

Saw your post on another thread and it sucks about the money, etc. that they are confused about. I just hope it does ot delay you more. But feel good about filing in Jan at Vermont and at least not being like me filing in Sept. 07 and still sitting on my hands. Even my lawyer says be patient. F**** them maybe they should be patient about me paying them the remainder of our fees until I have my fiance in the States. I wonder if they would care then???? LOL
