Can anyone help me find another ISP for my fiancee in Dapitan City/Dipolog area? She is using Smart with her cellphone to connect and it is the slowest connection ever!! It won't even connect her webcam most of the time when we chat. I want a better connection when she needs to download info and forms for interview, etc. Thanks!!

Hi,

I am from Dipolog City too. When I was still there ( well even now, my family uses the same ) I had smartbro which is broadband. Great connection, I could use the webcam and headphone at the same time. If your fiancee is from Dapitan, I doubt if they are already covered but she might want to inquire from the smart office in Dipolog City.

Best Regards,

Myla

Yes, Smartbro (999) is better than the "plug-in smartbro" (799). Or if there is no possible signal for her to use the smartbro 999, there is this PLDT-weroam monthly charge is around P2000. it can be used anywhere.

Check into Smart Bro, I pay 999 peso per month for it.

We are able to webcam and headphone, and the connection is very fast, even compared to US Speed. I have Verizon FIOS, which is Fiber Optic and it compares with my speed in US.

I sent one of my old laptops over there, and it how we communicate.

If you send a laptop, declare the value as 0 dollars, so the PI customs won't try to charge you customs and duty fees.
