I don't care about your pot or kettle to be honest - if you want to discuss the topic feel free, lets just not start with the (cough cough) "certain cities" baiting. You play fair, I will too.

Not caring like responding to the post, right?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Yes. That is why I mentioned it and not because someone previously insulted me without knowing ####..

Business now is it?

What happened to Economics?

I always wondered where you got this masters in economics. While I have been vague with my degrees it is not in economics. I studied economics as part of the masters course in Business Management.

Why did you actually think I was going to thoroughly explain every post for you. I don't have the time nor energy for that and certainly not for you.

I don't get BY's fascination with his and other's alleged educational qualifications - especially in contexts where the subject of the degrees are all but meaningless.

"How DARE you criticise my understanding of history and comparative religion. I have a degree in cake-baking dontcha know"

In any case its not as though having a degree makes someone a better person - or indeed precludes them from saying stupid things... I mean, look at James Watson.

I know several successful people of my own age who've done pretty well for themselves without attending university. Degrees aren't the be-all and end-all of well... anything...

Numero Seis, I hear you. I have been in academia long enough to know that a PhD is not a vaccine against stupidity. But then again, I am just a Mexican schmuck, so what do I know?
