So after waiting and waiting here ,bored to death and frustrated ,I decided to call delbros and as usual game me the same answer " my case hasn't been released yet from the embassy" :(

so i called up the embassy using the local number ...i tried calling for 20 mins and unfortunately the line was still busy .So i gave it a rest for a couple of minutes and called them again.

embassy lady : "Hello .how may i help you?"

me: "good morning! This is Abigail and i am calling about my visa status"

embassy lady: " Are you the petitioner?"

me: "No ma'am. I am the beneficiary "

embassy Lady: " Do you know that youre not suppose to call this number? youre suppose to be calling the call center for

your visa inquiry "

me: "ahhhhmmmmm I'm sorry ma'am but i did try calling the calling center but it doesn't work :(

embassy lady: "ok. but this is the only time I'm going to check your case " ok?"

We're in a bad spot.

My fiance interviewed for her visa on April 22.

I just got though to Grace at the USembassy and she says that the document verification process had not even started.

My fiance said she paid for it at the interview.

Now, May 6, they want proof that she paid it. They want her to call Delros name is ROVI, and get a number where she can text message the time, place, date and receipt number for her $350 peso NSO verification fee.

They say it takes up to 6 weeks to verify it after they receive this text message.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Please advise.
