Hi all,

My husband and I are gathering the papers we need to file the I-130/K-3. Our friends and family have written affadavits for us to help us prove a bona fide relationship.

My husband is in Alexandria, Egypt. He is trying to find a notary to have the affidavits signed. We have discovered that is no easy task.

Is there anyone out there in Alex that has had their affidavits notarized? If not, is there an alternative to the notarized affadavit?

Thanks,

Linda

I dont think you need that kinda stuff notorized to prove relationship. We didnt send anything like that, just a few photos and emails that dated way back, and my mom wrote a letter stating she was there when we married. At the interview is where you might need alot of things to prove relationship, but they didnt ask him for anything to show at the interview either but some people they do. Have you been to Egypt many times, that for sure helps. Phone records prove it also.
