I-134 Dates

So my interview is next week

My fiance visited last week

He brought all his I-134 information

- I-134 notarised

- recent paychecks

- bank statements

- letter from bank

- letter from work

These were all dated within the same week

However, he filled my age incorrectly on the I-134.

1. Assuming nothing has changed with his finances, can he just get a new I-134 notarised and can we submit this with the original proof?

2. If however, in the interim between the first affidavit and the second, there was a huge change (or due to be a huge change) in his finances, should we start from scratch?

(We're signing on a house this friday, following which his $50,000 savings have morphed into a $60,000 mortgage. His salary alone takes us over the poverty line.)

If it is something like your age, you can use white out and correct it.

You are not altering the financial data which would require a new I-134.

I think that you can re-print the first page with the correct information and attach it with the second page (notarized page). But if you want to change more financial information you must get another I134. If the petitioner or co-sponsor shows in the II34 enough income (125% poverty guidelines) you'll be Ok, but if you think that the new information helps to reach the 125% I suggest you get another I134. I like the reprinting of the first page idea.

Both 134 would be fine for support but the second one would be a big pain to get the proof for as the mortgage is only just going through this week.

So reprint it is. Shush ... don't tell anyone!

Good luck in the interview - we are just 5 days later in London.

As they don't give the EAD in Dublin Airport I am droppind M off in Dublin so she can bring the dog to JFK with Aer Lingus and then I'm flying to Heathrow to get to the same airport in the USA in order to get the stamp.

More fun eh?
