My wife entered the country on a K-1 visa and we were married within the 90 day timeframe and submitted our AOS papers a week ago. We have plans to have a marriage celebration in her home country of Brazil on Dec 30 and have our honeymoon in Cancun. We believe we should have no problems being approved for the AOS within the current 150 day timeframe. In the event that there is a RFI or any other problem, we have also submitted an AP so we can hold the marriage celebration in Brazil. Mexico does require a visa for Brazilian citizens so will the Mexican Consulate grant a visa to my wife so she can travel from Brazil to Mexico in the event we're waiting on our AOS status?

Thanks

If she qualifies for a visa she qualifies for a visa... Why do you think a foreign government would care about pending application in another country that is none of there concern?

YMMV

Thanks for the reply. Yes your reasoning follows logic and mine. It's just oft times government's are not logical and I wanted to check in the forum which also gives my wife more comfort.
