here we go lol.........being Muslim is not all about dress ..........sure prayer is allot of it but it goes deeper than that ....its in how we treat each other......seems like a simple answer huh but it isnt....not really

i think the worst emotional slap i ever received from my mom was one time i was stupid and said something about how another muslim girl was dressed.......my mom looked at me and said do u think that because u cover urself that ur better than her? think again u dont know if she is more kind to people than u.......u dont know how she treats the poor u dont know how she prayers u dont know what she eats or how she cares for herself u can not judge someone as to how good a muslim they are just by the way that they dress and ur comment about how she is dressed shows me that she is probably a better muslim than u r because u voiced something that was non of ur business............it only becomes ur business if she comes into ur home and u have asked her not to dress like that because of how it might effect ur husband or children........................so i learned allot that day.....and i never judge how much good a muslim anyone is it is up to Allah not me........if i dont like what someone is doing i dont go around them.....but that does not mean that i think i am better than they are......it only means im not comfortable with it................ok ready for the fall out now lol.........

VERY well said! those are the exact sentiments of my husband and I. You can look the part on the outside but its how you live your everyday life and treat others is what makes you who you are... and btw, we ALL have fallen short of Gods Goodness... its by His Grace that others can even think to call us good...
