My situation is simple to follow.

1. I am sponsoring both my wife and stepdaughter.

2. I have filed separate I-130’s for each and both are approved.

3. I am filing separate I-864’s for each

4. My annual income is over the 125% of the poverty level.

5. My plans are that they immigrate at the same time.

Please help me answer item 8 and 9 from Part 3. “Information on the immigrant(s) you are sponsoring” on the I-864 form.

Question 1:

Item 8 has three boxes that can potentially be filled-in. Which box (boxes) should I fill-in?

BOX 1 – I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in part 2 above

BOX 2 – Yes

BOX 3 – No (Applicable only in cases with two joint sponsors

Question 2:

Item 9 has one box and multiple entries below. Does the box get checked? And do I include anyone’s name, whether my wife or daughter, depending on which I-864 is in reference?

Anyone can answer? Thanks!
