Did you use your married name when you filled out the I-485?

Well if you applied for your GC with your married name, it means they made a mistake and you are going to need to file for a correction. Keep in mind that corrections on GC's may take months to process. If you filed with your maiden name, well that's the name they should put on your GC.

Correct, many make the mistake and use maiden name in part 1 of form I-485 rather than married name. If this was the case you can get it corrected by filing form I-90 return the card, and pay a fee $360 Edited by YuAndDan

Yes just bring your marriage certificate with you when you travel so you have proof of why your name changed.

My wife came to the US on an F1 visa about 10 years ago.
