All Yardies,

I filed an I-129 and a I-130 ok.

I called the NVC at the 603-334-0700 # and they said the case # that belonged to the I-130 is being sent to JA

embassy. So, since the I-129f wasnt sent to JA do that mean its a CR-1/IR-1??

What sould be are next move?? Can I  a little?

Please Help

Mrz. Bailey 2 U!!

From what I have read, it sounds like the K3s are being phased out - And from what you posted, it sounds like you have a CR1/ IR1 - So I would follow the steps for that - If it's on the way to JA, sounds like you need to start getting ready for your interview, and I would  ALOT!!

Congrats Bailey. I wound dance too.

My question to you is, why did they tell you that the case is being forwarded to Kingston, when NVC does the document collection and processing and assigns the interview date? This really puzzles me.

AnywaYy, not to worry. Just start collecting you documents for the DS-230 and get your financial documents ready. You should be able to pay your fee online which makes things go faster. This online payment will speed up your case by about 1-2 months. Goodluck to you and yours.

Maybe they are phasing them out. You see how long the process is taken.

Where can I find what I need for the CR1/IR1?

You can go to the embassy info on top that gives you a little info. You will need to pay the NVC $70 for the financial info and then e-mail the DS3032. This is all after the systems says they were generated. Do not send anything to them before the systems says geenrated. The next step would be to submit the I-864. The petitioner can download the form and fill it out and get tax transcripts for the last three years to include with it. Then next the IV fee bill for $400 and after that is paid and entered it will generate the DS-230. You can also start preparing the DS-230 and documents to submit with it--original marriage cert, birth cert (new long one), copy of bio page of passport, police record. This is all for the beneficiary.

This NVC Flowchart will help to guide you. Goodluck

Hello Nikki,

Since they're saying that they'll be processing your I-130 for the CR1 visa, they will start sending you all kinds of paperwork and bills for them to process. The first thing you'll receive is the DS-3032, also called the Choice of Agent. This is something that your spouse needs to fill out and send them telling the NVC who he wants to be the choice of agent, either him, you or anybody else. The choice of agent from this point on will start getting all correspondence from the NVC. He can also e-mail them who he wants the choice of agent to be.

At this point you will also be getting the AOS fee bill for $70 which I belive you can now pay online as soon as you get your IIN. Once you pay it, you will be able to download the I-864 and send it to the NVC with all the financial documentation to support your numbers such as tax transcripts, pay stubs and employment letter.

Once they receive the DS-3032, they will send you the IV Bill for $400. This bill can also be paid online. After you pay it you can download the DS-230 to send along with all necessary documentations. You can find a list of the documents you need to send them here: Department of State Link Just choose your embassy and then click on Civil Documents.

When the NVC is done reviewing all the paperwork you sent them, they will take about 2 weeks to complete your case. After it is completed, they will make an appointment with the embassy within the first two weeks of the month for the following month.
