Not long at all (see my signature below) - although, I did put a cover letter in there requesting an interview during my trip to Australia. Not sure if it helped speed up the process. Try giving the Dept of State a call - they may have already scheduled one and you just haven't received the info yet. Did you put down your email address as a form of contacting you?

I'm so Jealous of you... I can't wait to be that close to going home.. (new home!) I sent back my DS230 the day before I got the packet in the mail as they sent me an email telling me what to do (as I was impatient!) So I didn't send off that email contact form yet. Can you lodge it online somewhere or do you have to send it off? Maybe I'll send it off today. Thanks for replying!

We just included the email contact form with the rest of the packet 3 materials we sent in. I didn't even know it was included until Liam asked if he needed to fill it out. I'm just really excited to be able to attend the interview part so that we can officially end this process (or at least the k1 portion) together. That and I was only in Brisbane for about two weeks last November and I miss it! :) Let me know if there is anything else I can help out with.

Yes.. I have another question. :) When you send your package 3 back to the Consulate with all the forms etc, are you supposed to put a covering letter with it? I know we did a covering letter for the very first initial petition, but wasn't sure about this one. It doesn't say to include the evidence of relationship in my checklist, but to bring it to the interview. I seem so stupid asking all these questions!! :) It just doesn't seem like we have alot of goes to get this right though. I don't want to waste time ya know?
