We are in the process of filing for the AOS, but I have a question. My wife arrived in the USA in November, we were married in December and our beautiful daughter was born in April …being that my wife was pregnant when she did her medical at SLEC, she didn’t receive any vaccinations. My question is now that the baby is born should Eve get the vaccinations before I send in the paper work, and if so, does that need to be done by a civil surgeon? We have the I 693 but it only has the Dr.’s signature and says the MMR & Td not given – pregnant. I was hoping we wouldn’t have to appear for an interview.

Thanks in advance!!

If she is still breastfeeding, she does not need to have the MMR...Not sure what the TD is, but just call your doctor and ask about it.

I would get it done at your local heath department and take documentation to a civil surgeon rather than have the civil surgeon do the vaccination themselves - will work out cheaper.
