Greetings VJ family, my K-1 Visa was approved as of May 2, but I'm wondering what we can do while we wait for the paperwork to go to NVC (since CSC is so slow these days) and then to the consulate in Naples, Italy. I know my fiance has to get his police certificate from all the places he's lived. For him, it includes London and Canary Island. Should we start the process now - in particular with London, England (since it takes 45 days for him to get it) - or should we wait until he gets Packet 3 to pursue this? Also, with the immunization I was told that he can get a test done to determine which shots he has received. Should he get that done well in advance or does he have to wait for Packet 3? I know that those two requirements will hold things up. So, any advice all of you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance to everyone for their replies and support through this lengthy process.

Definitely get started now! He should be able to request his police certificates and get the test done if he doesn't have his immunization records. Also make sure that you are getting your affidavit of support documentation done. He'll need the original and notarized copy of your affidavit, along with all of the supporting evidence. Congrats on your NOA2 and good luck with the next step!
