I'm not a nervous person - And I wasn't upset with you until you felt the need to judge me and make it your mission in life to show me the "wrong of my ways" You are not helping me, you were frustrating me, but I'm turning the other cheek. I know much about Islam and I will not even go to say that I know "everything" about Islam because I know that part of being a GOOD Muslim is that you are learning ALL of your life and you never stop learning about Islam. I think you may need to rethink using the word "hot" to describe her pictures on a public forum (nothing against you Ash! I think you get what I'm saying! You're cute ). I suggest you tell your fiancee you think this girl's pictures are "hot" and that you've been looking at "hot pictures of her and her husband together" and have her explain to you exactly what you just said.

Abdo, this is Ash's nice thread about her husband getting his visa. Leave it alone. She is a good girl who is excited about an event in her life and in her marriage. No one came into your congratulation thread and started talking about stuff.

Abdo, what are you trying to accomplish? When she says she is Muslim who are you to say that you are not sure that she is a Muslim? When you have something to say, I am sure there are polite ways of saying. You should learn this first. Ask your wife about this whole situation and let us know what she thinks. I am sure you know Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught us to be polite, he would have disapproved your approach.

I don't think that is what it is at all. I'm sure of it. When you grow up being half of one thing and half of another (In my case half Pali and half American) you get this all of your life - You aren't Muslim/Arab enough to fit in one place and you aren't American enough to fit in some where else. But you know what, I've learned exactly where I fit... Right next to my husband.

I was upset yesterday, that I can not deny.. But I've come to realize in the grand scheme of my life, this doesn't matter. I know there are a lot of great people on VJ that are supportive of others and really just here to help. I thought about deleting everything but the more I thought about it I realized, my purpose here is to help and be helped. I know that there are not a lot of others processing through Tunis and many of the ones that did, never finished filling out their time lines, posts, and such and I think that my experience can be a great help for those who are going to go through what we did. So in the spirit of VJ, I'm sticking around and I'm going to keep posting.. Off soon to write the full "interview experience" and what he's gone through today as well with the Embassy so that it can help others here.

It's hard sometimes when it's someone personally attacking you, but really if you step back-- Abdo is hilarious (lol obviously not intentionally, I think he'd probably be mad if he knew how hilarious he is) ! He makes my day at work. The things he says! he reminds me of Michael Scott from "The Office" who is always saying really rude things without a thought and being judgemental.. and who nearly explodes while trying not to say "that's what she said" at the end of things and it comes out like vomit.

I am really getting a kick out of him continuing to declare hot-ness. I still don't think he realizes how attractive he is saying you are and how aroused he is implying you are making him lol. He thinks your pictures are inappropriate yet he cannot see how inappropriate it is to speak about another man's wife in such a way-- or any woman at all-- according to ISLAM (all caps for the proper effect)!

I will share my wedding pictures with any one that wants to see them because I am PROUD of my husband and those same pictures are hanging ALL over his house. Omii blew them up huge and they are just everywhere - And the first thing she does when people come over is drag them into the sitting room to show them our wedding photos. The center picture here that started your campaign against me is framed next to my husband's bed and he'll show it to anyone that wants to see as well.
