I just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck in their journey. This website and the people who make it possible allows the rest of us to learn and pass on that knowledge. I hate to say this, but it looks like this journey was too hard for my fiancee and we have decided to part ways. This has got to be one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through. An ocean and Immigration can add one more relationship to burst before the NOA2 list. Things might have been just not meant to be. I wanted to take the time for all the people on here who helped with my questions and gave me some great advice when I needed it. I know it's hard for everyone who is going through this, but keep your head up and realize what true love really means and what it's really worth. Since, I don't need to come on here anymore...I just wish everyone the very best in the life and hope everything works out perfectly. Thanks so much!!!

Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you will.-Natalie

To truly love something, you must first give it a chance to fail. If it survives, it is going to be stronger than ever. Distance is pure proof of this, and forever we will love if we survive.-Matthew

Sorry to hear things didn't work out for you.

I understand how difficult the K-1 Visa procedure can be, but if you have decided that it's not going to work for you two, then it's better to find out now than after you have moved to the U.S., married and started a new life.

I wish you good luck in your future and hope that maybe you can find someone in your own country to share life with so that you don't have to go through the immigration process in order to be together.

I know I waited for 6 1/2 long months for our approval and it was torture, even though we saw each other every single weekend because we only lived 3 hours from each other.

Best wishes to you.

Really sorry to hear this. It is hard, specially been so far apart. It really is sad for 2 loved one's parting, whether its cause the agony of the immigration process taking so long or for other personal reasons. I give you both the best for the future.

Living far apart from your loved ones is definitely felt like missing an happiness from you. Not only that thing are really different when living not together. Sometimes Patience may seem like not enough. My all the best wishes with both of you.

I'm sorry to hear you guys didnt make it through :( Its not like a long distance relationship isn't hard enough, but when you add in all the immigration stuff into the mix, it becomes even more so complex. In the mean time, while you guys decide on parting or whatever your situation is. Maybe by the time the NOA2 comes around some feelings will come back, or the issue may be worked out. You never know :) Keep an open mind.

Good luck to you. :star:
