Why is it better you may ask. There are several reasons:

1.) It is a web based application. No need for a program on either computer. You still can use your Yahoo screen name, as well as a host of other screen names. In other words you can log in with multiple screen names.

2.) The pictures don't freeze as much and are not as "jerky". When my wife and I were using Yahoo I would constantly have to close her image and reopen it because of it freezing. I have not had to do that once since we started using meebo. The only drawback is the fact that the pictures aren't as big. It also has the audio feature built in, so you can talk for free (computer to computer) just like Y/M.

3.) It saves the chats for you. No need to worry about your computer crashing (like mine did). I lost 3 months of chats because my computer crashed and Yahoo doesn't store them for you. Sure I got lazy and didn't have them stored somewhere else, but it's a pain if you're in a hurry.

If anyone uses this and has a problem figuring it out just P/M me and I'll tell you what to do.
