it's sunday and i totally did not expect the automated system to be updated but we finally got the "case complete" message!! i'm so excited and relieved!! i now have to wait for a couple of hours for my husband to wake up in the US to tell him the good news.

thank you so much to everyone at VJ for all your help. we honestly could not have done it without all the advice and encouragement on this board. :star:

July 16 2007 I-130 mailed to TSC

July 19 2007 I-130 delivered to TSC

Aug 2 2007 NOA1 issued by CSC

Aug 6 2007 Check cashed and NOA1 received in mail

Dec 14 2007 NOA2

148 days from delivery of I-130 to NOA2, 134 days from NOA1 to NOA2

NVC

Jan 3 2008 Case received and Case# assigned

Jan 21 2008 DS3032 and AOS Fee Bill generated

Jan 30 2008 DS3032 Couriered from Singapore via UPS

Feb 4 2008 DS3032 delivered to NVC (delivery was late should have arrived Feb 1)

and thanks dani for all your help and encouragement. i really appreciate your words of support over this long journey.

and yes, i would definitely have woken my husband up with the good news but he sleeps with his cell phone turned off! :lol:

i hope everyone who is waiting for a case complete message gets it soon. and early interview dates so that we can be with our loved ones soon. (L)

Yes, I did the same thing KTG. I checked saturday morning, but it was not updated. Then I check Sunday afternoon. The message stated it was finished on May 2nd, Friday.

It is very exciting to hear. Why wait till they wake up. I would want to be awoken.

Congratulations!

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
