Hi me Diana again, does anyone know what questions they ask at Casa interview? what does interview room look like ? is it in a wide open room where everyone stares at you? do you stand or can you sit ? I have heard bad denial stories and good ones , so I am scared for him . My husband has not received his packet yet, it was mailed by NVC on April 16th to Casa, what is usual wait? also does the DS230 come in English to him ? He speaks Arabic , French and of course English very well, also how much is a medical if he already had his shots and xray done by his personal doctor in Meknes, does Casa doctor for the consulate transfer the shot documents and xray and only charge for bloodwork? Any answers will be greatly appreciated thank you thank you twice  Diana

I am in the same boat as you. We finally got our approval on the 28th, it said it was approved on the 24th. I still havent heard anything from NVC and dont really know where to go or what to do from here. My fiance is asking me all kinds of questions and I have no idea what to tell him. He asks abou the papers they will send, when they will come to him, what the questions are like, what the room is like, how long it will take, etc. answers would be great.

I was all calm and cool when i filed the petition, never nervous once. now I am a big ball of crazy emotions and totally confused.

HELP!

Edited by tenderheart197900

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

hi,

first congratulations.. About the questions given at the interview, i think the link mentioned by Tenderheart is useful, what's petitioner name ?, birthday ,, what did you send her at her birhtday?, her address& her phone number?, her sisters and brothers& their names?, her job,,mostly questions about informations given on the G-325A. so he should know everything about you and your family, including your hobbies... h'll be interviewed through a window. must bring his police certificat and court record, translated by a certified translator. Medical tests made before are not accepted, everything must be done at the doctor designed by the consulate. Am not sure about the forms he has to complet, but i think are DS156 and DS156K , He can have a look at them by downloading them from the uscis web site. time for interview depends on the each case, mostly not more than 10 minutes.Good luck

We applied for an IR1 visa, I was the agent and I received a copy of the packet before he did. They will have you get the DS-230 off the internet. The medical costs about $200 american, 150 dhs, and they will redo the shots and xray if he cannot provide evidence that he is current with all of them. We had Dr. Alain. Schedule the medical at least 10 days before the interview; the doctor's office will send the results to the consulate, Have your husband get a copy of the results to bring with him to the US. He can request the originals of your submissions at the interview.

My husband had his interview in Casa on April 16. It's conducted in an open room in front of everyone. They will take a finger print after they call him, then they stand at a window with the interviewer and talk on a phone. Have him ask for the interviewer's name before the questions starts. That makes it easier to identify them if you need to challenge a denial. Also, have him ask for an explanation of the decision so he will understand what it means.

The questions they asked him were "How did you meet your wife?", "When was the last time you were together?", "What does your wife do for a living?", "What work did your wife do before this?", "Does your wife have any children?", "How old are her children?", "How do they feel about you?", "When did your wife change her name?". He had the young, blonde lady; she spoke to him in Arabic, he answered in English, as we often do between us. I had emailed the consulate, and told them that, so that might be why it went that way. She didn't look at any of our evidence, took his passport and told him to come back the next day for his visa.

Best wishes to you both!

You're welcome, Diana! For a CR1/IR1 visa, all the fees are paid upfront except for the medical. My husband paid for nothing at the interview. I'm sure there are differences in the procedures between the visa we got and a K3, but someone who is doing/has recently done a K3 would know more about the K3 than I do. One thing I believe is the same is that, while they send you pretty much all other information by mail, most of the forms for submission are to be printed off the internet. Name changes or lack of them don't seem to affect the chances of success or failure.
