I am not sure how to add to the list, so I am just putting my information here.

Sent N-400 May 31

NOA1 arrived June 12

Biometrics appointment June 26

The biometics appointment was in Buffalo, New York. I was suprised to see on the biometics notice that if I could not go to that appointment, that I could go instead any wednesday until mid-September. However, I had no reason for delaying.

Hi,

I'm new here and I'd like your help with one question: Do I need to list membership in community centers and professional organizations in my N 400 application?

I have a friend who submitted his application on March 10 2008 and was naturalized in about three months. I guess the process now is fast.

Please add my timeline to the list:

VSC/Newark NJ DO

Sent : 05/23/08

NOA1 : 05/29/08

Biomertocs : 06/27/08

Interview : waiting

I contacted USCIS customer service 800 line yesterday (07/09/08) for a status of my application. The rep asked me to contact Newark NJ DO for status. Does this mean my file has been transfered to DO? From the other posts I see that processing speed has increased for 2008 filers. Seems encouraging.

Hey guys,

I had to go back for a second biometrics appt. They sent me a letter last week saying that the FBI couldn't read my fingerprints, so I had to go back yesterday. I hope this is not going to delay my process. I WANNA VOTE!!!!!!!

I have one question. Should the tax transcripts be enough for the interview? Or should I try to find something else with me on that day? I've never been married. Never been arrested. Never left the US for more than 6 months. Never this and never that...

I am done with my interview and it took 10 mins. Now waiting for my oathe letter. the IO just wanted to see my marriage certificate and my wife naturalization paper and then gave them back. I should get my oathe letter within 2 to 3 month the IO stated... :D:P
