i was practicing the james shortcuts by generating barcode...I noticed that after following the steps the barcode is a little bit smaller than what the sample shows. I wanted to know if that is okay? Thank you very much...

After you set the size of your height and width, also reset their scale back to 100%. It should look about the same as the guide.

For your upcoming IV bill, I recommend paying your bill online if possible so you can print the new barcode for DS-230 after it has been paid.

SCALE meaning the height and width percentage? but then it resets the height and width again..is that okay?

NVC barcode is just simple barcode. I noticed that every coversheets has different sizes of barcode equivalent to your case number. Therefore, it shouldn't make any difference as long as your printout comes out without any spots. Scale usually doesn't matter in simple type of barcode. It is just like having printout with different size of fonts but as long as your eyes can recognize letters you can read them regardless of size.
