Hi guys,

First of all, great community and why oh why didn't we stumble upon it earlier! We did a major screw up with our petition package. When my future hubby was putting it all together, he followed the list on USCIS official website, didn't read any forums and as a result the package was mailed out last Friday with G-325a for both of us, form I-239F, his citizenship proof and... that it :crying: Basically, we are missing letter stating that we do plan to get married within 90 days of my arrival and, most important, evidence of our almost year and a half long relationship. Anybody knows what will happen or what can we do to salvage the situation?

Im not an expert at this, but I would imagine that if they require further information from you they will submit a rfe (request for further information). What you could do is have it ready so it can be sent to them straight away.

If it is required then you would be sent an RFE for it.

I would say just have them handy so that in the event that you *may* get an RFE, then you can return it ASAP.

Good luck with your process and welcome to VJ :)

No need proof of relationship until interview. Only need proof you have met within the last 2 years. You may be OK. Just have letters of intent to marry within 90 days for your interview. I doubt if you'll get a RFE for not having them. Just have them ready to sent in if you should get a RFE.

Assuming the list is complete, the petiton will be returned because you didn't include a check for the filing fee. If you paid and only skipped the evidence of meeting, you may only get an RFE.

If you didn't include the check, I'd go ahead and just file again correctly ASAP because they will return the whole package if no check.
