After a year of searching for a job in our tiny town, I was finally able to land one just 7 miles away from my new home. It was not a big company so my boss had no need for my international marketing connections however what he was interested in was the fact that I was computer literate.

So after 4 months at the company I learned how to put up an online store from ground up mostly through self learning! (trial and error, lots of reading, lots of forum support, lots of headache!)

Today we went live on the store with our SSL certificate in place and I'm off to creating another one for the company.

So learning a new skill in your 40's is not a bad thing afterall

By the way, our online store is having a 50% discount on select colors of table linens. Great for Mother's Day!!
