Paris .. to that I will add the famous agreement words often rung around the Houses of Parliament in London .... 'Here Here'!!!

God you guys are funny

Its nice to see the lighter side of our beloved Pushbrk. Keep it up Pushbrk.

Listen, a lot of the credit goes to my trusty straight man, WHsoulmates for letting me make fun of him being so stoned he forgot about the bags. It's like he was scared straight, just for our entertainment.

In the olden days when I could speak from personal experience, a few of us were in a suite at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas just working up the munchies in a sitting room full of smoke, when in came my good friend's wife with the bellman in tow. They went about their business as we continued our conversation, then the Bellman left. A second later he used his passkey to come back in with a suggestion for our entertainment. He said, "You know there's a great game you can play with that stuff. The three of you just smoke a whole bag of it, then one of you leaves and the other two have to guess who is missing." Somehow, we found that hilarious.

Does anybody remember the "baggie" back before there were zip locks?

The "baggie" is still around the ones with the little metal tie with thin paper on it that tears when you twist. Hard to find, but their out there.

Oh the good old days. Good night folks, and thats the entertainment for tonight.

I ran out of plastic bags for photographs. Lets see if I get RFE for no plastic bags.

Well, by the sounds of it I must've been stoned without knowing it Paris .... or more likely having a blonde moment  , cause you're not the only one who didn't use them. I truly mean it ..... my petition was thrown together ... I had a plane to catch in a matter of hours and my Engineering exams after I got off it .... guess which stupidly took priority ?? ... who would've guessed the turn of events back then

I've started preparing for my RFE's this week, when I'm done I'll post them to Hubby in preparation, that way there's no crazy scrabble trying to get it all together. I suggest you buy some new palstic bags too

Hopefully our adjudicator will be a nice person  .... they're human too.

Actually, that's pretty good Pushbrk, I'm impressed and you made me giggle :rofl:

However, please note, Pushbrk is not condoning the purchase of marijuana just to get your plastic bags for your photographs ... it was purely used as an example :pop:

Right, I wouldn't condone such a silly reason for purchasing marijuana. :bonk:

Hopefully we can all look back and have a good laugh at the little things we stressed over. When we filed the I-130 we had only read the USCIS official filing directions, so just put the photos in a white envelope marked "photos" and stapled it to who-knows-what. We're still waiting for the RFE! 2 1/2 months plus later when filing the I-129 F we were 75 days or so smarter. We have a whole collection of the plastic holders for name tag badges collected from endless meetings, enough for a nice convention of VJers. Some have an opening on just the top. We used one for each photo and stapled them to a piece of paper. We thought they served the purpose were a lot more professional looking than sandwich baggies, but in the end, who really cares??? Just hoping we all get our petitions approved soon and with none of those dreaded RFEs!

The sandwich bags are far more likely to be around most people's homes. Fortunately, it's been a while since I've participated in one of those ACCO fasteners vs Paper Clips discussions but they boil down to the same thing. Use what you have if you can. I wouldn't dream of buying a whole box of fasteners to file a petition. I used the clamps I already had in my desk drawer.
