It's good to get stuff out and not keep it in .... having feelings about this process is not a sin

You hold my I-130 in your hands

And keep us apart in different lands

We threw it together that we know

But time was an issue and I had to go

Now I wait across the world

Without the life I need to build

A baby too, that would be nice

But your wait time is an issue with no eggs on ice

I write upon this website here

In hope each day I bring some cheer

Yet you keep me apart from people dying

But I soldier on without any crying

The new friends I've made are simply the best

But sometimes others can be pests

Life's been hard, but you'll never guess

I won't even succomb to your approval mess

To have a happy life would be really great

But plans can't be made till you give me a date

Wealthy I'm not, so you make me wait

In a black hole with simply no date

Force like a Jedi I must use

To basically ensure there are no blues

The time will come when you have no choice

But to open your ears and hear my voice

I know one day my I-130 you'll find

By then I'm sure I'll be old and blind

But at last I will have time with my lover

I thank Heaven and Earth that he is younger

Some people here are really suffering

Kept away from their children because of your erring

Simply waiting months for that magic 15 minutes

For you to input their info with no if's or but's

So why not change your recent behaviour

And approve all the nice people to make them feel better

I have a laugh and I have a giggle

And I'm sure my stories often make your eyebrows wiggle

Why you delay noone knows

But because I love my Husband I can't stick it up your nose

So, because of that I must wait

And on my nerves you will not grate

I'm thrilled at new friends I've made through this

While my Husband, yes, I sorely miss

My I-130 you'll approve one day

And thank F**K at last I'll be with him to stay

That was awesome Sarah. I know the pain. It's a struggle in which many of us are going through but friends like you give us the courage to hold on a little longer. Thank god for friends but not for immigration process. Hopefully all of us can be happy one day.
