NATURALIZATION

28th july 2007 - N-400 mailed to VSC

(exactly on the 90th day mark...applications NOT returned although some scared me into thinking they could have!)

30th july 2007 - N-400 delivered to VSC

11th august 2007 - Delivery Confirmation receipt received

17th september 2007 - Money Order (FINALLY!) cashed

9th november 2007 - NOA! (notification period given 180 days)

21th november 2007 - Biometrics appointment letter

18th december 2007 - Biometrics appointment in Baltimore, MD completed

29th march 2008 - FINALLY received letter with interview date!

8th may 2008 H 8:40 AM - Interview in Baltimore-APPROVED!

8th may 2008 H 3:00 pm (yes same day, crazy!) Oath Ceremony in Baltimore

24th may 2008 - US Passport application mailed off

6th june 2008 - US Passport received in the mail!!!

Well I finally found the courage to sit down and read all the messages that you all have left after Kez passed. First I want to say a very big thank you to Mags, Kez had arranged for Mags to have a copy of her letter to you all as she knew how hard it would be for me to post it so soon after she had died, it was hard enough just to PM Mags with the news, never mind posting Kez's letter. So Mags thank you from the bottom of my heart, I know it must have been so hard for you too, I know Kez took great comfort from the PM's you both shared in her last weeks meant so much to Kez.

To everyone who took the time to leave a message, I thank you all. I am so glad that you got to see a part of my beloved Kez, she was a wonderful woman I will miss her until the day I die. I have printed out all the messages here and the PM's that I have received and added them to Kez's memory box.

As you all know Kez came from Scotland and she was very proud of her home country, but she choose to be buried here in MA (her new home) But we have had a Headstone shipped over from Scotland made of Scottish garnet, This was a gift from all her friends in her home town. They even had her Kez avatar carved into the stone.

As for me I am taking one day at a time, some days are better than others. Kez's parents are coming back over for 3 months at the end of June and it will be good to have them here again. They are going to help me sort out her stuff and answer the 100's of letters we have got.

Again Thanks for all of your kind words.

First of all, I was honoured that Kezzie trusted me enough to send me her final letter. The messages we shared in her last weeks meant a lot to me too and I have actually printed them off for safe keeping. (F)

The headstone sounds beautiful and the fact that her friends have done this for her is testament to Kezzie and her wonderful spirit. She was a remarkable lady and will never be forgotten.

I just found this and I just wanted to say Jon that I'm so sorry and she was a beautiful person. I am about to cry at work from her letter. I'm so glad life gave you t he chance to find each other. She loved you so much.

There will definetely be a void on VJ for a very very long time.
