Hey there,

I'm a little clueless on this - do I have to bring the x-ray film to the interview or not ? I had my medical 2 weeks ago, at the panel physician's in Hamburg, and he gave me the x-ray film after the examination.

Do the consulate guys need to see it ?

Thanks-

Daniel

Nope  the doctor at your medical used it to determine if you have Tuberculosis and notes this on the medical record that you will provide to the consulate.

It is recommended to have it in your carry-on when you enter the USA just in the rare case that POE officer requests it, other than that you wont need it.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I mailed mine in and had no issue. Plus I saw tons of other people at the Montreal consulate when I went for my interview with their x-rays. If they didn't want to see it, they wouldn't have sent it imho. It can't hurt to bring it with you. It can only hurt if you don't and they want to see it.

If they want to see the x-rays and you don't have them, you will be denied. Why chance it? I know the medical clinic I went to told me I was to send mine in. Over cautious? Possibly. Better that then turned down and have to resend them in and wait a month for the consulate to get a chance to review your documents again.
