We recently applied for my wifes AOS.........about two weeks ago. Today we got a notice for the schedule for her biometrics. It is scheduled for May 22. The problem is, she is out of the country for family emergency. We have advanvrf parole but she will not be back by May 22nd.

If I call them will they reschedule the date of her biometrics or are we in trouble.................She will be back in June...............Thanks

Yes, You can reschedule if you read your notice of action there is an option where they let you reschedule for a new appointment i think any wednesday or saturday available.

By the way, My situation is the same than yours, I sent my papers out two weeks ago and yesterday i received my appointment for this wednesday so fastttttttttt!!!

yes on the lower part of the notice, you will have the option to reschedule for the next available thursday or saturday. Make a photocopy before mailing the original back. You should get your new schedule after a few days :) good luck

AOS Journey

02-14-06 arrived at LAX

02-22-06 applied for SSN

02-24-06 got married

08-2006 green card received!

02-13-08 two week vacation to the philippines!!!
