I'm a May filer as well.

28 Aug. 2003: started dating (me on E-1 work visa)

30. Dec. 2006: engagement

20. Oct. 2007: wedding

AOS:

7. May 2008: mailed out AOS & EAD to Chicago

8. May 2008: envelope delivered

15. May 2008: received NOS for AOS & EAD

19. May 2008: received appointment for biometrics on 6/6

6. June 2008: biometrics at 12 noon

18. July 2008: received email: EAD card production ordered

28. July 2008: received email: EAD approval notice sent by mail

28. July 2008: received EAD card in the mail

12. August 2008: received letter in the mail with date for AOS Interview on Sept. 22

22. September 2008: Interview went fast and smooth (10 Min!!) and case was approved according to officer

23. September 2008: Received email: card production ordered

Hi Everyone! We re-submitted our application on May 28th (sent 27th, signed for delivery on 28th), after the first one being rejected because my ubby signed it in the wrong place :-)... let the waiting begin... again.

Mailed: 05/27/2008

Received at USCIS Chicago: 05/28/2008

Checks cashed: 06/05/2008

NOAs (I-130, I-131, I-765): received at home 06/06/2008, notice date: 06/03/2008

NOA (I-485): received at home 06/07/2008, notice date: 06/03/2008

Rejected Application:

Mailed: 18th Arpil 2008

Received at USCIS Chicago: 21st April 2008

[Nothing in between]

Complete rejected application returned to me: 27th May 2008 (delivery date)

*Rejected because hubby signed under "preparer" rather than "applicant" in I-130

Just to give everyone an update. Yesterday was the Biometrics appt in St. Paul, MN. All went great and was in and out within 25 minutes. It took so long as they were extremely busy in the office. Then Hassan also tried for the drivers permit and got it. We have to wait for the SSN before he can take the driving test. Hopefully soon.

05.02.2008 - Sent AOS & EAD package to Chicago.

05.04.2008 - Package recieved in Chicago.

05.09.2008 – Received NOA's.

06.04.2008 - Biometrics appt.

07.25.08 - Work Permission Received in Mail

07.28.08 - Applied for Social Security Number

08.04.08 - Received Social Security Number in Mail

09.29.08 - Started job

We're on the same situation :). I haven't got my NOA1s yet but I already got my biometrics appointment which will be on June 19. I already checked my case number online and both my I-485 and I-765 is already in their system. I guess the NOA1s are just delayed in getting in my mailbox :). Good luck to us (F)

Wow! that was fast! we haven't received any letter yet about my biometrics though we got our NOAs last week. i'm hoping we'll receive it til tomorrow.
