First of all thankyou everyone for the congrats

HAPPY DINCE

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

This was amazingly quite easy in our case.

I was looking through what I sent in and there were a few mistakes and we didn't have the vaccinations done at the time of the medical because my wife was pregnant.

No RFE's no interview. Just simply approved. I think maybe they only really look at every other one. :bonk:

Not that I am complaining, just adding my two cents.

Tim

Hi All,

We got an RFE - need medical and vaccination, I guess they misplaced the ones forwarded from POE.. I'm going to involve a senator in this, as I would hate to pay twice for medicals..

Congrats to everyone on good news! :)

Congratulations!!! :D Thank you for sharing the details! Did your wife get an approval stamp?

There was no approval stamp on the passport/visa. The officer told us that Meryll should not have any problems with immigration while waiting for the greencard. I have noticed a lot of VJers not receiving the stamp lately.

Thanks for the congrats Sha and scott, KC*MP, ella, and Heliosphan

Hi edp33.....!!! Congratulations for your approval. You've done with that AOS level. For me, I would have my interview this coming Oct. 22 at Portland which is about 6 hrs drive from my place. I pray and hope i could have my approval also, like you guys.

I would ask help from you, since you already done with this. In my USCIS NOA that i received it say that ....All document establishing your eligibility for lawful permanent resident status...what does it mean? What would i bring for this. Thats the only requirement that i dont understand. The other requirements i have already prepared.

Hope to hear from you guys.

thnx

Thanks Jean. What the interviewer asked my wife for was: passport/visa, I-94, EAD, and an ID. We had gone to the Drivers License facility and got Meryll an Illinois state ID. The other thing that really helped was pictures of me with her parents and me Meryll with my parents.

For other readers, we went to the interview well prepared. We brought everything for the K3 interview, everything submitted for the AOS, pictures of our wedding, pictures of our US wedding reception, pictures with family, originals and copies of joint banking and bills, and of course the interview letter. We were not asked for much of this, but it is better to be prepared, than need to send them in after the interview.

Good one. My joking qoute was, " Why isn't it green? They must have sent you the wrong card!" Meryll smiled and showed me the green lettering on the back of the card. :innocent:
