Heya May filers!!! We sent our AOS + EAD packages yesterday, May 19 via USPS express/over night delivery mail. They will be receiving it today, May 20.

So, I'm excited to post some good news here soon about our NOAs and more updates.

hi tim y! Yeah! We're back at this waiting game again! Well, we sent our application on May 19 and they got it on the 20th. Right now, we're waiting for our check to be cashed and for the NOAs. Hope we're moot gonna have trouble on this process. And this will be less stressful since we're with our loved ones now. God bless to us!

Hello guys, we meet again. We sent our packet last May 13 and I got all 3 NOA's last Saturday (May 24th). The Notice Date is May 20. I checked it online and I noticed that it is at the National Benefit Center or the MSC (?). I read somewhere that it take long for cases to be processed at the National Benefit Center. Anyone here heard stories about it?

THE K-1 PROCESS

June 14, 2007: Sent I-129F to Texas Service Center (but case was transferred to CSC)

June 27, 2007: Receipt Notice Date

October 29, 2007: Petition is APPROVED! :-)

December 10, 2007: Case received at NVC

December 12, 2007: Case is forwarded to US Embassy!

January 2, 2008: Pay Delbros for Document Verification

January 8, 2008: CFO Seminar

January 23-24, 2008: Early Medical (Original Sched is Feb. 1, 2008)

February 8, 2008: Interview Date (6:30AM)

February 15, 2008: Received Visa :-)

February 27, 2008: Fly to USA... POE: JFK - New York... :-)

March 14, 2008: Applied for SSN

April 18, 2008: Wedding Day :-)

THE AOS PROCESS

May 13, 2008: Sent AOS docs to USCIS including EAD and AP

May 15, 2008: Package was delivered!

May 21, 2008: Check was cashed!

May 20, 2008: Notice Date for AOS, EAD, & AP

May 24, 2008: Received All 3 NOA's in the mail

May 26, 2008: All 3 cases available online (at National Benefit Center or MSC)

June 12, 2008: Biometric Appointment (USCIS Raleigh - Durham, NC)

June 12, 2008: AOS and EAD touched!

July 19, 2008: AP Approved! Approval is sent!

July 22, 2008: Approval status available online!

July 26, 2008: AP received in the mail!

July 28, 2008: EAD card received in the mail! (With July 19 approval date)

Jan. 13, 2009: Interview Date at USCIS - Raleigh/Durham

APPROVED!!!!

Ours was mailed May 23rd.

AOS

May 23, 2008 - AOS filed

June 3, 2008 - NOA

June 27th - scheduled biometrics, reschedule requested

July 14th - biometrics

July 16 - cases available online

Aug 6th - card production ordered (EAD)

On another note, our cases still aren't online and it's driving me crazy. I want to be able to track them. <_<

I guess cases won't be put in the online database until around the time of the biometrics appointment... We'll see.

I hope so. Our biometrics appt is tomorrow and I hope it will help jumpstart CRIS with putting our cases online.

Your packet will be broken apart and only the EAD and AP will remain at the National Benefits Centre and the AOS will be transferred to either California or to your local office.

K-1 journey, AOS/EAD and ROC in my timeline

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

I sent my package in on 4/30, but got my NOA1 on 5/2 so I guess that makes me a May filer. I have yet to see my case online though. My biometrics appt is this Saturday the 31st...so glad its on a saturday so I don't have to take off work to go with my husband all the way to baltimore.

June 8th - I-129F mailed to VSC

June 13th - NOA1

November 9th - NOA2!!!

January 10th - APPROVED!

January 24 - Pick up visa

January 31 - Honey arrives in US!

February 28- Court marriage

May 2- NOA1 for I-485 and EAD

May 31- Biometrics

June 2- TOUCHED

Sept 2008 - Perm resident

We Mailed ours out on the 10th. Our NOA date was the 20th. We were out of town unfortunately when they came - we had just flown to Chicago for the long weekend and they came in the mail the day we left! Go figure! We just got his biometrics letter in the mail today - he's scheduled to go on June 12th!

I have a question. I'm just getting everything ready to apply for AOS. How many passport type photos do we need? 2 or how many? Also Where should we sent the envelope with paper?(I live in Chicago). Whats the exact FEE? When do we pay for the finger prints? THANKS EVERYONE!

September 18,2007 ---> Sent I-129F to California Service Center

September 20 ---> USCIS sent out a recepit(NOA1)

I never received the envelop with NOA1..( I think it got lost)

September 24 ---> Check Cashed

September 25 ---> TOUCHED

December 4 ---> I called USCIS and they gave me the receipt number...

FEBRUARY 7, 2008 WE WERE APPROVED!!!!! 142 days from filling date.

February 22, 2008 NVC RECEIVED OUR PETITION. YEY

February 26, 2008 Was sent out to the embassy. OMG!!!

February 28,2008 PETITION DELIVERED IN BUCHAREST AT THE EMBASSY.

February 29,2008 Police Certificate

March 6 Received packet 3

March 20 Interview

MARCH 20 VISA IN HAND

April 5,2008 US ENTRY

April 21,2008 Applied for SSN

April 29,2008 SSN CARD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL

GeoStefan - If its just you filing, the fee is $1010, and biometrics (fingerprints) are included in that amount.

The guides are very helpful and easy to follow. I'd read through the guides first, and ask necessary questions afterwards.
