Our AOS case got an RFE a while ago, and afterwards, it was transferred to CSC... it hasn't been touched since 8/22... what is going on?! :angry:

We're on the same boat about "the waiting" stage... it's just so frustrating. Got no update and no interview appointment for my AOS. Those who filed after me already have their appointment... my AOS has not been touched since biometrics...:-(

wow! congrats to the recent approvals!

well, i received my EAD card last week, sept 13 and on monday, i'll be starting my first formal job here in the US. so excited!

by the way, i sent my reply to the rfe about a month ago and my AOS case on the website haven't been updated yet. i'm panicking a bit coz i don't know if they really got my response to the rfe. i'll be calling them on monday and i hope that i'll be able to talk to the right person.

God bless to all the rest of the May filers who are still waiting like me. In God's time, our approval will come.

Congrats on all the approvals!

It seems two people who's cases were at CSC and were touched on August 22nd were approved in the last 24 hour. I really hope I get some good news soon too!

Ok, I have a question and a vent this time.

Question: Have most of your EADs been dated the day they were actually approved or some other date? My husband's card was ordered 9/11 but it came dated 7/30/2008. Do they routinely do that just to make their stats look better or is it just our person trying to cover up the whole 90+ days thing?

Rant: This whole process is so insane. So my husband got his EAD card Friday (yay!!) but he also got another biometrics notice for the AOS. Obviously the biometrics they took were good - we can see the fingerprint on the EAD so either 1) they just forgot to scan the AOS bar code on the letter or 2) the person at MSC tried to schedule him for an interview and messed up and ordered another biometrics. We had family in town so we'll be calling the hotline on Monday but am prepared for them to be equally confused. Just hoping I don't have to take more time off work to drive the hour each way to the appointment when we've already done that. What is the deal with these people?!

But he has the EAD. That's what we've been waiting so long for, so woo hoo!

My wifes card was dated the date it showed ordered. For some reason they send two e mails 4 days appart both showing it had been ordered. Sep 6th and Sep 10th. The card is dated Sep 6th. Expires Sep 6 2009.

When you get the 2nd email for EAD card production, that means they mailed it out.. wait 2-3 days and it will be in the mailbox...
