The good news is that my EAD got approved!   The bad news is that I have to start job hunting... Not such an easy task with the lousy Michigan economy...

I've still had no action on my AOS since my biometrics...I'm giving up hope that it will be transfered, I guess I'm looking at an interview. Oh well, if that's the case I hope they at least hurry up and give us our interview appointment.

Congrats to all the latest approvals!

Congratulations on your EAD approval!!! . Hope you'll get an update soon on your AOS (F)

Congrats to all the approvals!

I think at this point we are the only ones who applied in May who are still waiting...

Our Noa1s are dated 5/25 and not only do we not have the EAD, my husband hasn't even been issued a biometrics appointment!! We've called several times, made an infopass appointment, and filed a service inquiry (for the biometrics not the EAD which we can't do yet) but still nothing. Tomorrow it'll be 3 weeks since we filed the inquiry (85 since the NOA1) so we're going to call and see if they can give us any info, but so far no one has had anything to say besides be patient. But it's clearly weird that his application hasn't been touched since 5/29 (and that was presumably to put it up online. No one can say what was done on that day).

Anyway, this is to say there are a few more of us May filers out there. Hopefully our cases will start moving soon.

I-129F sent 7/2007

I-129F approved 2/2008

Marriage: 5/3/08

9/11/08: Biometrics

9/11/08: EAD card production ordered

9/30/08: 2nd Biometrics (no reason given for second appt.)

Yes, the process for USCIS is backwards, which is what everyone experiences. First they send out a notice that your EAD card is being produced then when they finish the card, they send an approval notice for your EAD card. The 2nd or 3rd EAD notice that the card is in production, they actually mail out a card. Count up to 3 business days from the time you get your 2nd or 3rd notice that your EAD card is in production and that's the day you should receive your EAD card.

hi fellow may filers. Well, here are some updates about my case. We received the rfe letter wednesday last week and they're telling me that my joint-sponsor doesn't meet the poverty guidelines requirements though we also provided them her assets to add to her income. They are asking for some proof of appraisal value of her properties. In order to avoid more complications, we opted to get another co-sponsor. We got my husband's aunt as our second joint-sponsor and we are so blessed that she is cooperative to us and most importantly, her income is good enough to support me. With that, we are planning to submit our response to the rfe tomorrow. We're just waiting for her employment letter.

B-R & A, i know how you feel. Just hang in there. Call the uscis everyday and follow up for your service request.

By the way, congratulations to the recent approvals!
