Called the USCIS misinformation line tonight to ask about getting the I-797cs (NOA1s). I was moved up to second level support.

The filipino lady told me that since the notices were already sent they cannot send another. So I asked her how she knew the notices were sent? She replied it says so in the database and I need to trace the NOA1s through the post office. :bonk: I informed her the the USPS does not work that way and the sender, USCIS, must request a trace on the mail.

Then she tried to tell me all we needed at the interview was the interview letter.

Then the best misinformation was that I could print the NOA1s off the USCIS website. :jest:

@ Reneehao, i think this answer is better: Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation.

Sorry to know that nothing was resolved by calling them. I'll more likely get the same result if I try to inquire about my NOA1s too. I'll give it another week before I make my call to the misinformation line :)

I hope NOA1 is not so important Ed....We did not receive one for I-129....or the I-765. So far everything is working out okay, without them.

Congrats! yay, it's time for the May filers to see activity on our cases.

Don't worry about the NOAs, you don't really need them unless you don't get you EAD/AP, but by the looks of things you probably won't need those either.
