Wow, a list is a good idea... thank you Tanjay. Just a little correction with our timeline. Our NOA1 is dated May 20. :-)

Have you had any touches on your case? We have about the same timelines (and I haven't seen any activity on mine).

There's no "touches" in my case at all. The last one was during my biometrics last June 12. I made some checking from time to time but no touches at all. :-( I'm looking forward to see some progress but so far, no idea at all... and I'm just clueless on how USCIS process a case.:-(

They don't touch your cases every day, every month, every few months. If I were you, check once a month, when the USCIS updates its timeline. If you keep checking, it will drive you nuts.

Trust me... it did me.

The most touches for my case, was AFTER I had the interview, and before that, my case wasn't touched for 8 months.

Well I'm not to concerned about anything other than the EAD card. I have to leave my job until I get the new one and this is driving me bonkers.

I want to have my EAD the soonest possible time also. Staying at home and waiting for progress with my case just drives me crazy. At least, by the time I'll have the EAD, I'll be busy about work and won't have time to worry too much about the AOS process.

Well, worrying certainly won't bring your EAD any sooner. Also, there are only a few dozen thousand people who've filed before you. You can expect your EAD 3 months after your first NOA for the EAD.

Hi May filers...i just wanted to know how is that u did to get ur driver's license...after u file the AOS...cause at the office they ask u for the form I-94...and obviously has already expired or filed also. Any tips?! pls......Good luck everyone...let's just hang in there......

When i was there befor my I-94 expired they said that i will recieve a DL until the expiring date of the I-94. When you file for AOS you have to bring the NOA with you and you supposed to get a 1 yrs DL until you get your GC. I decided to wait for my AOS to go back and apply for the DL, im planing to do that sometimes next week.

Hi my vj family. We went to our local uscis office here in LA, California to follow up my biometrics appointment. And their sweet response was that they cannot do anything about it since it was just over 30 days. We should follow up on them after 90 days since our filing date. They cannot do anything on it since it's with the National Benefit Center already. In short, we wasted our gas, time and money. Info pass is such a waste of time, I think. all we have to do is to wait for our biometrics appointment letter. Hayayayayayay..
