I've got a question-- we filed at the end of May and got our NOAs for the AOS, EAD and AP, dated June 6th. Anyone else having trouble finding their case status online? I put in the case receipt number, and it won't bring anything up for me. Am I right to be putting in the number that starts with MSC? Has anyone else had this issue? I'm not terribly worried- we have our NOAs and the biometrics letter arrived shortly after the NOAs. I am just curious to see if there's anyone else that can't check their status online....

I read in other threads that some people have problems to view their cases online. Yes, the MSC number is the correct one and you can add the new numbers to your K1 portfolio. Sometimes it takes them a while to update the info into the system, some people were able to view their case online after having the biometrics.

Hang in there it will come.

That was true in our case. Our cases didn't show up online until after my husband has his biometrics appointment.

Thanks for all the replies- makes me feel better to know this isn't really abnormal at all:)

This part of the process seems far less stressful than waiting for the K-1 visa... I'm not nearly as high strung!

We made an offer an a house yesterday, and today we've gotten a response and accepted the seller's counter-offer. All very exciting. Now I will start worrying about money instead of the AOS process!

Yes, right. The AOS process is less stressful than the K1. At least, we both are with our SO during the waiting process this time, unlike K1. I don't stress myself that much now, I just read post here at VJ to keep me updated. I'm still waiting for my EAD and the progress of the AOS, and while doing that, I'm keeping myself busy... doing some gardening, painting, and decorating our house... more rewarding than stressing myself with worries about AOS. :-)

After biometrics, depending on your local office's timeline, you could wait between 4-9 months until you receive your interview letter. It took 8 months from my biometrics appointment, to the receipt for my interview date.

Now, after biometrics, you wait for your EAD to arrive in the mail, assuming you applied for one. This usually takes 2-3 months.

Hi fellow May filers....I just had my biometrics today and it was done in 15 mins. I arrived an hour early and they processed me right away. I was done even before my appointed time. They made me fill up a yellow paper afterwards that is like a survey on how I rate their services. Since I was processed fast and efficiently I gave them an Excellent rating :). It was a breeze and short for a 2 1/2 hrs drive one way :):). ....I don't have my NOA1s as of today though :(

I think, I'm having a depression now. As of today, no biometrics appointment yet! I know some june filers who got theirs already. What should we do.. Hayayayay..

Don't be depressed about it!! You have your infopass appointment right? I know it's totally stressful (and still no letter here either) but I've done some searches on other forums and it does seem like there are always some people who never get their biometrics appointment. Usually several calls to customer service were needed and it had to be ABSURDLY late, but everyone eventually got them. So once you're past 30 days from the NOA, I'd call the NSC customer service number again and explain that you should have AT LEAST received an appointment by now since the EAD is supposed to be fully processed within 90 days. Eventually after many calls it seems customer service sent an inquiry and that got the ball rolling. Something to try at least.

And in other thoughts, when we were doing the I-129F they didn't issue an NOA for a month! after we sent it, so we were totally behind all these people who filed way after us. Still, we ended up getting processed with everyone who filed when we did regardless of the fact that our NOA1 was a month after theirs, so it's just possible this won't even delay your EAD too much. (again, can always hope, and pray)

Stay strong Beng!!

thanks a lot for the support... hayayayayayay... june will end next week... hoping we'll be receiving our appointment letters next week...

Hey, we just got an RFE in the mail for the I-485 and EAD. They want me to show my financial evidence. I sent them everything that they are asking for on the RFE along with the package. I guess I will just have to resend it. I will send it first thing in the morning. At least I know they were ready to work on our case. I never received any emails or touches, either.
