Most cases when I hear of a denial for CR1 cases were where there was ganja found in the blood test during medical, or when a person admitted to having EVER smoked ganja. Even if last time they smoked was 13 and they are now 30. Otherwise no other denials. There have been cases where more proof of relationship was needed but after that was brought back to KNG everything was fine.

Thank you for responding Lita i thought no one would. I just thought i would asked even though it sounded to be a silly question. My hubby and i will be celebrating 4 years of marriage in July and the thought just crossed my mind. Everyone has been asking about proof of relationship but to me 4 years of marriage is proof enough he tries to come to Ja every 4-5 months (plane ticket not cheap). We has a private wedding so i really dont have lots of wedding pic, but i do have some and cards and that he has given me. I hope everything goes well and that we will get an interview date soon our case was completed at the nvc on 25/4.

I'm sure you'll have an interview by beginning of July if not the end of June. They take awhile to give out the interview info, even though it could've been scheduled awhile back. You sound like you two will be more than fine. I don't have "proof"either. Just myself and if that doesnt work well I guess I must not exist...haha

You are going to need more then that.

Phone calls?

IM's, e-mails?

Did either of you send money to the other? Receipts?

immigration stamps in your passport?

Plane tickets?

Hotel reservation reciepts or confirmations?

Photos are good.

Cards & letters are good.

It's not going to be enough to just say we've been married 4 years. You have to provide some proof. I have heard of people who have married Jamaicans and then practically disappeared, never to reappear in their lives. You are going to have to prove ongoing relationship.

Really think about it. I am sure you have more proof then you are thinking right now.

good JG..cause it's always nice to say year of marriage is all "you" need..but in reality you do need more and JGs list is nice...even if they never ask for the stuff at least yuh prepared...and the question may follow if you love each other so much and married for so long..why you just now filing papers for ur spouse....soemthing along those lines

Kimmy's right. I was actually thinking that too. I am SURE that question is going to come up.

There is no reason for them to ask her why they waited so long to file. If you look at her timeline you will see that they got married in 2004 and the petition was filed in 2005.

If you guys remember when she first started to post, she did mention that when they got married, her husband was a permanent resident and he just got his citizenship in January of 2008. He had filed for her since 2005 and because he was a PR at the time it was taking longer. After he became a USC his petition was upgraded hence why they are where they are right now--case completed.

Like she also said she has lots of proof. He visits her every 2-3 months and her name is on his insurance and they have a joint bank account in Jamaica.

She was only asking a hypothetical question about possible denials and what the denial was for. She did not say she did not have proof. She has more than enough but was just curious.

Well well here goes as the post said "Just CURIOUS" My husband and i got married in July 04 he was then a LPR he we fileed in Oct that same year, was approved in Sept 05 (waited a long time for I-130 to be approved). He became a USC in Jan 08, our status was upgraded hence i have just completed our case at NVC April 08............thats why the wait i hope it is much clearer now.

I have his British passport with his entry and exists out of JA every 3-4 months (5 months is longest he has stayed away :star: he cant keep his hands off me i guess) . So i hope this answers any doubts you may have about our marriage being ligit.

Photos, phone cards, greetings cards, Western Union'bill (i got them all) ooh better than that i have his bank card so i take money directly from his account when i need it.

I was only curious of what might happen at the interview....you never know (from being here on VJ anything is possible)

got to go

thanks anyways for your insight and info
