Tax dollars are spent according to the will of the people damnit. The people elect the goverment, the gorvnment spend the dollars. Each individual is not goint to 'like' every govermental decision, but collectively, it is the will of the people. Suck it up.

I'd agree with you if politicians actually carried through on their promises and did what they said they would when campaigning to get elected in the first place. There's a difference between making a few decisions some people dislike versus changing the entire way you think and operate once you gain a seat of power. If you think politicians from both parties don't do this, then you might want to pay attention a little more often to politics. As a general rule, politicians will cheat, lie and backstab just about anyone to get where they want to be, including the very people who "made them" what they are today.

Then it should most definitely be up to the voters to find ways of replacing them when we realize we've been lied to. Out of convenience and complacency do the majority of voters accept the choices we've made.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I think I stated quite clearly, enforcement and border security are only good if there's something to combat. Take away the root cause of the illegal immigration and *problem solved*. We are not talking about one country being better than another- we are talking about taking away the necessity for many illegals to come here, specifically.

The U.S. cannot eradicate poverty in the rest of the world - there will always be millions

of illegals wanting to move here.

Unless, of course, your "solution" is to turn the U.S. into a ####### 3rd world country.

This has been a typical response every time I get close to mentioning this idea. The simple response is:

Its not about solving other countries' problems. Think of it more like ensuring that all know how to fish without the bullies (that are in most cases our buddies) stealing the fishing rods. Sometimes it will work, other times it will not. In those countries where it does, rewards in the form of real free trade can be achieved.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
