2 years??????????????LOL now that's a hoot, i thought i was bad with keeping my portable air compressor and filling it up every 2-3 days..lol now i dont feel so bad. I will more than likely have it taken care of this weekend. I'm just debating if i should patch or replace?? I go through tires like you wouldnt believe. I'm starting to think that my tires have magnets on them.lol

I had this weird looking light that went off in my car showing me that something was wrong, it was on for months and finally I pulled out the manual and it said that a bulb was out, hmmmm. i wonder what that it is...then realized it was my brake light. I've been driving around like this for a long time now and i'm surprised that i didnt get pulled over, Not to mention this is like the 4th brake light replaced within a year! What gives here??nothing lasts anymore

glad to hear you feeling better tammy and best wishes for your wedding melinda
:)
I on the other hand have a nail in my tire and a brake light is out
In the past 6 months, i have bought 4 new tires, replaced one due to a blow out and going to patch up another one, i can't keep up! Wishing everybody a great day today!

A couple of months ago I had to get some work done on my car (and I still need to do work-- I think ym fuel pump is dying... once it's been runing and you stop and then restart-- like go into a store and come out-- unless it's been like 30 minutes or more it won't start! engine turns, etc but just acts like it has no gas) and they came out and told me that a tire I had had people look at for the past 2 years because it had a slow leak in it had a nail in the sidewall on the inside. I have been airing that thing up for TWO YEARS and no one would believe me that there was a problem!! Ha!

Everything is fine here I guess.... I had a total breakdown at work yesterday in front of about 5 people and got called into the human resources office, but the upside to that is that I'm getting a 3 day paid weekend I'm also going in for free nutritional counseling at my specialist's office. He works in a cancer research center (no, I don't have cancer) and I have access to the programs there as one of his patients I kinda feel guilty for using them, but I really need the help

Polar - share the knowlege you learn here with us, I need to really get a hold of my nurtitional health together. I think this is a great gift, and you will get some wonderful ideas, but remember SHARE WITH US!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a bubble gum machine here and i put my quarter into it and you're suppose to get 2 gumballs, well, i kept hearing gumballs coming down as i was turning the handle so what do i do, i keep turning the handle and i finally had to stop cuz people started looking at me like i was tilting the machine...lol and i have put many quarters into this machine and got shorted so i feel justified now.

Good Morning! Happy First of May!!!

Tammy.....not sleeping again, huh? Yeah, you gotta be feeling better if thats the case.

Melinda....A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on Mohamed's safe arrival and your big wedding day today!!

Maureen...I heard a Budweiser commercial on the radio yesterday. I had to snicker at that one.

AJ!.....It's coming. You hang tight, girl!

Every one else...many blessings and prayers! Especially to those who are waiting for their good news to arrive.

I am going to take the car in to the mechanic for an oil change this am. Get that out of the way so I can focus on d-day tomorrow and the million other things that are dancing in my head.

Sleepy baby = happy mommy.....

my heart is still melting...

HAPPY THURSDAY everyone

Carrie, Ayman is a handsome little man!! Mabrook

Kelly I read in the other thread that you were not receptive to the epidural. I just wanted to let you know that with my first it did not work either, i am resistent to the mediciation. Same situation as you. And I also had to push for hours! With my baby I had told them this and they had a team of three anestegiologists working on me the whole time i was in labor - they gave me a few different times of medicines through the IV - the "normal one" does not work for me. i didnt feel my legs until 330 am and i delivered around 1pm! just so you know for next time if you bring it to their attention there are things they can do.

OH and congrats and the baby is gorgeous

From what I was told, they only give you the epidural so you don't feel contractions. Once you get ready to push, they want to make sure you can feel that. Is that true?

Hi everyone. Wicked busy at work today. Weekend without the kiddos comin' up so planning some fun excursions in Boston. It's weird but I'm like, ok what should we do? I've never done touristy type things here. I don't think I've ever even been on the USS Constitution.
