do i need the whole letter hardship thing or with the deployment orders are enough to get the waiver approved...?

In Matt's Military Expedite procedure thread, he states to send a letter

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43385

However, the MilitaryImmigration Helpline do happen to sort expedites over the phone and send them internally, maybe give them a call and fax the details too

thanks for the answer... i appreciate...

the thing its... we are already all expedite... we are on the appointment with ciudad juarez... may 16... with the expedite we went like 4 months faster then the normal process... when i go to ciudad juarez, and they tell me, hey you need to file the waiver...

i know its the hardship letter but because my wife shes being deployed, do i need the hardship letter or just with her orders are enough to file the waiver....

thanks in advance

Could you get her Commander to simply call the Embassy ??

Military are supposed to be able to get fast interviews at the Embassies anyway.

They're being very pedantic.

I'd fax them the copy of the orders just to keep them happy along with a cover letter and see what happens .. it could very well be merely a 'tick box' exercise.

Or call NVC and ask them to do it, as they sort the interview dates and they have the expedite.

everything its ok with the interview... because like 5 days we get the interview letter... the only thing im afraid of its whenever they denied me, and then tell me to file the waiver do i need the hardship letter or just her deployment orders to be granted the visa...

Eloko, from that, I understand you've been denied before.

I don't know much about denials, but yes there is the waiver which you mentioned .... personally, I'd take all of it! and get a letter from her Commander too just to back it all up.

In this situation I wouldn't leave anything to chance.

Goodluck to you and I hope all goes well on the 16th. Please let us know how you get on.

when i go to ciudad juarez on may 16 to the interview and they denied me the visa because i enter EWI and i can file a waiver to pardon the country for being illegal filing the waiver, i can expedite the waiver because my wife its being deployed, but do i need the hardship letter for the waiver ? or her orders of deployment act like hardship letter...

thanks again

ps, never being denied its my first interview

Eloko, I would cover your back, and take it anyway. The fact you've been wizzed through the system and not been held up as yet, is a good sign, but I have no idea what the interviews are like in ciudad juarez. Check out what others have said in the threads which deal with your Embassy, if they are hard, then don't hesitate to get the hardship letter together ASAP with a Commander's letter and the Deployment Orders.

If they are not hard, then I would still prepare the same paperwork to ensure ease through the interview and peace of mind.

thanks, i was thinking that... take both but im going to be in trouble because its no a lot of things to put on that letter....

thanks

Then a letter from your Wife's Commander will definately help .... outling how important it is to have you in the US before she leaves as she's off to war, and for her sanity while she's protecting the US .... or it will take her attention off her job at hand and put soldiers lives at risk.

When in doubt Eloko, throw it all at them
